India, Japan vow to conclude FTA talks by 2015-end
India and Japan today pledged to fast-track negotiations for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), a mega free trade deal, and wrap it up by the end of 2015. They also announced to make it a "high quality and mutually beneficial" agreement. RCEP came up for discussion during the meeting of Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and her Japanese counterpart, Yoichi Miyazawa, here.

Food processing sector attracts $421 million FDI in April-January
Food processing sector attracted foreign direct investment (FDI) of $421.51 million during April-January period of 2014-15, the government said today.
"Food Processing is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy and the sector is growing at 8.4 per cent," Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said in an official statement. She said the country has the potential to become a global leader in food processing sector.
